My rating system counts the number of successful elements
in a movie. The elements include acting, camera, plot and resolution, theme,
engagement, intellectuality, music, and replay value.
The ratings go as follows:
A Timeless classic. Near perfect, achievement in some
elements, success in the rest
Classic, successful in at least four key elements: acting,
camera, plot, and theme
Classic, successes in at least two elements
A classic, success in one element or quality in more
than one element
By the way, do NOT waste your time on this movie, even
the nudity isn't worth queing for
Some of these movies might get higher ratings if acting
was not so central to the rating system. Also, I'm rather partial to sleepers.
